Job Overview

Shriners Children's is seeking a highly skilled Intraoperative Neurophysiological Monitoring Specialist to support the department's vision and efforts. This individual will provide state-of-the-art neuromonitoring to children, including SSEP, sEMG, tEMG, and tcMEP, for both clinical and research purposes. The successful candidate will work closely with the Medical and Program Director to integrate vision for the center and participate in leadership planning.

  • Provide day-to-day intraoperative neuromonitoring, ensuring state-of-the-art monitoring for existing and emerging areas.
  • Support the director in integrating vision for the center and participate in leadership planning.
  • Provide safe, effective, and compliant neuromonitoring and documentation in accordance with regulatory guidelines and department policy.
  • Ability to work flexible hours to accommodate scheduling needs.
  • Proactive in taking steps towards achieving CNIM or designated credentialing as per IOM protocol.
  • Willing to go above and beyond job requirements to provide patient coverage and quality care.
  • Attend to goals established in performance goals.
