Perioperative Nurse Professional Development Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Perioperative Nurse Professional Development Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our perioperative quality and safety team, you will be responsible for fostering knowledge acquisition for intraoperative nurses through guidance, mentorship, and the cultivation of perioperative practice.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement educational programs that address the learning needs of nursing staff and support their professional practice.
- Assess learner characteristics and implement a variety of teaching strategies tailored to the learners' characteristics, learning needs, and outcome objectives.
- Plan culturally relevant programs that incorporate concepts of multicultural and multigenerational education and demonstrate a sensitivity to ethical, cultural, and spiritual inclusion.
- Develop a strong and effective learning environment by selecting appropriate psychomotor, cognitive, and affective educational content and using various materials and techniques.
- Evaluate the impact of educational programs on educational and organizational outcomes and design and implement systematic and useful evaluation plans for programs and projects.
- Master of Arts or Science degree in Nursing or a related field.
- 3+ years of relevant experience in nursing education or a related field.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Registered Nurse - PA license.
