Position Summary:
The Senior Financial Operations Specialist will play a critical role in coordinating and assisting with the annual budgeting process, quarterly forecasts, weekly forecasts, monthly reporting, and departmental spending analysis. This position involves the consolidation of financial statements, preparation of presentations, and the identification and implementation of process efficiencies. Additionally, the specialist will develop financial models to enhance analysis and reporting and assist with various ad-hoc projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyze General and Administrative expenses, Weekly Financial Scorecard, Monthly CFO Book, financial ratios, and various ad-hoc analyses, modeling, and presentations.
  • Consolidate Profit and Loss Statements.
  • Prepare and coordinate presentations for the Board of Directors.
  • Oversee the budget and forecast processes.
  • Identify and implement process efficiencies to streamline reporting and analysis.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, or equivalent experience; MBA or CMA is a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, modeling, and reporting.
  • Experience in the food industry is advantageous.
  • Strong background in budgeting and forecasting is highly desired.

Skills Required:

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Experience with BI tools (MicroStrategy and Workday Adaptive Insights) is highly desired.
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, along with excellent customer service and organizational abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
  • Proven capability to take projects from conception to completion.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and listening communication skills.
  • Knowledge of GAAP and financial metrics such as NPV, ROE, ROI, and business operations.
  • Ability to think strategically while executing detailed tasks.
