Job Summary:

Hyve Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented and results-driven Manufacturing Operations Lead to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing department, you will be responsible for leading daily production activities, directing hourly employees, and ensuring the efficient flow of work-in-progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in shift start-up meetings with your department team to communicate current priorities and targets.
  • Direct hourly employees and assign and coordinate daily production activities to meet quality and productivity goals.
  • Develop and implement methods and procedures to improve productivity and quality.
  • Prepare daily productivity reports and monitor department KPIs for results and trends.
  • Evaluate issues and potential problems proactively and develop contingencies and short-term processes as needed.
  • Identify bottlenecks that affect area goals or standards and develop solutions to address them.
  • Develop hourly employees through training, coaching, and mentoring to improve their skills and performance.

Requirements:

  • Advanced understanding and adherence to manufacturing documentation (MPI).
  • Skills to train employees to department MPI (Manufacturing Process Instruction) documents.
  • Advanced computer skills with beginning to intermediate skill level (knowledge) in Excel.
  • Ability to work effectively within a team environment and lead by example.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to promote healthy working relationships and provide constructive feedback.
