Job Standards:

  • Must comply with all Department of Public Health Food Safety and Sanitation Standards.

Key Job Functions:

  • Maintains cleanliness by sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Disposes of waste and recyclables in the kitchen area.
  • Sanitizes and cleans kitchen equipment thoroughly.
  • Washes, rinses, and sanitizes cooking pots and pans.
  • Operates commercial dishwashing equipment to wash, rinse, sanitize, and store dishes, flatware, and utensils.
  • Delivers food and supplies to various locations within the facility.
  • Assists in different aspects of food service operations as required and as per training.
  • Adheres to established safety protocols, ensuring all work areas are kept clean and organized.
  • Performs additional tasks as directed by the supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
