Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse to join our Hematology-Oncology team at Christie Clinic. As a Chemotherapy Treatment Nurse, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our commitment to excellence in cancer treatment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance with nursing standards and provider direction.
  • Prepare equipment and assist providers during treatment, examination, and testing of patients.
  • Observe, record, and report patient conditions and reactions to medication and treatment to providers.
  • Act as a liaison between patients and providers regarding complaints and concerns.
  • Instruct patients and families regarding medication, treatment instructions, and patient education.
  • Administer IVs for chemotherapy and/or phlebotomy.
  • Perform related work as directed by coordinators and as required.
Requirements
  • Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Evidence of annual completion of health-related courses and/or seminars with a certificate and/or CEUs.
