Position Overview
  • Develop precise cost assessments for commercial construction initiatives.
  • Examine project documentation, specifications, and drawings to ascertain the scope of work.
  • Engage with architects, engineers, and project leaders to collect vital project details.
  • Spot potential cost-reduction opportunities and propose value engineering alternatives.
  • Draft bid submissions, financial plans, and schedules for clients.
  • Perform risk evaluations and formulate mitigation plans.
  • Stay informed about industry developments, materials, and construction techniques.
  • Review and confirm subcontractor proposals and estimates.
  • Ensure adherence to all regulatory and safety requirements.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial cost estimation.
  • Expertise in estimating software and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Strong grasp of construction methodologies, codes, and regulations.
  • Exceptional analytical and numerical skills.
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications accurately.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with outstanding organizational capabilities.
  • Capacity to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.
