Job Overview

Jabil is seeking a skilled Automation Technician to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on electro-mechanical equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Conduct feeder maintenance, repair, and data tracking to ensure efficient production.
  • Train employees on the operation and maintenance of machinery to ensure a high level of proficiency.
  • Assist in troubleshooting and repairing non-functioning electro-mechanical equipment.
  • Comply with all company security policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent discipline preferred.
  • Zero to two years of work-related experience in electro-mechanical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
  • Basic mathematics and understanding of electronic color codes and other component value markings.
  • Personal computer operation in a Windows environment (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint and e-mail).
