Job Summary
The Lactation Consultant I plays a vital role in providing clinical care support and education to breastfeeding mothers and their babies. This position requires a strong understanding of breastfeeding techniques and the ability to educate nursing medical staff and community breastfeeding support groups.

Key Responsibilities
• Provide consultative support and education to nursing medical staff and community breastfeeding support groups
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement breastfeeding support plans
• Educate breastfeeding mothers on proper techniques and address any concerns or issues
• Develop and maintain relationships with community breastfeeding support groups

Requirements
• 2 Years Clinical - Breastfeeding Required - And Education - Teaching and Facilitation of Learning Required
• Graduate Nursing Required - Or College Courses Nursing Required - With Required Licensure/Certification - And Bachelor's Degree Nursing Preferred
• Registered Nurse Required - And International Board Certified Lactation Consultant Required - Within 1 Year of Hire

Work Schedule
Monday to Friday, 7am-3pm
As needed, weekends and holidays
