Job Details

Harrison Consulting Solutions is seeking an experienced Transportation Project Manager to join their Houston team. This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for someone looking to take on new responsibilities and make a real impact.


Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage various transportation projects, ensuring timely completion and quality standards.
  • Lead multiple projects and studies, including roadway, underground utility, drainage, traffic, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with municipal clients, fostering growth and success.
  • Assist in developing new transportation project business, including proposal preparation, project staffing, and interviews.
  • Manage local and federal aid projects for diverse clients, such as local agencies, DOT, and counties.
  • Mentor and train junior staff members, promoting professional growth and development.
  • Support staffing and hiring needs, ensuring the right talent joins the team.
  • Establish and maintain design and quality control standards.

Requirements:

  • B.S. degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience, with 2+ years of project management experience.
  • P.E. License or ability to obtain within six months of hire.
  • Experience working with roadway and infrastructure design using TXDOT and County design criteria.
  • Familiarity with municipalities and county staff operations.
  • Occasional travel to job sites, client meetings, and evening functions may be required.
  • Experience with Microstation/Geopak software is a plus.

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $95,000 - $130,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Successful applicants must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship.
