Project Engineer II/III

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer II/III to contribute to the success of our team at Timmons Group.

As a Project Engineer II/III, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including land development, transportation, and infrastructure initiatives.

Key Areas of Expertise
  • Land Development: Residential, Commercial, and Municipal/Government projects
  • Transportation: Roadway Design and Traffic Analysis
Primary Responsibilities
  • Design project components using relevant software, modeling, and Civil 3D technology
  • Perform calculations using engineering formulas and skills, and/or utilize computers to solve problems
  • Prepare specifications and materials through research and manufacturing catalogs
  • Work to complete design details and plan sets
  • Conduct research and write objective summary reports
  • Assist in the preparation of engineering and construction cost estimates
  • Complete field observation, inspection, and data collection duties
  • Communicate with client staff and internal design team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field
  • At least two years of experience in civil engineering, EIT preferred
  • Working knowledge of Civil 3D preferred
  • Microstation considered for Transportation related positions, Synchro & Vissim for Traffic Analysis
