Portfolio Strategist

We are seeking a skilled Portfolio Consultant to join our team at Capital Group. As a Portfolio Consultant, you will play a critical role in helping us raise and retain assets for our North American Client Group.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide differentiated insights and portfolio analysis to intermediaries to help them make informed investment decisions.
- Consult with intermediaries on portfolio construction and provide recommendations on investment products and services.
- Prepare analytical reports and insights on investment products and portfolios to support our business goals.
- Develop and maintain deep knowledge of American Funds products and services to effectively communicate their value to clients.
- Identify challenges and opportunities, and recommend solutions to drive business growth.
- Collaborate with a diverse group of associates and clients to deliver exceptional results.
- Contribute to and/or lead projects to drive business outcomes and improve processes.
- 3+ years of investment industry experience with knowledge of advisory business, investment products, capital markets, and portfolio construction concepts.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in areas of high complexity.
- Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with a diverse group of associates and clients.
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
- Advanced accreditation (CIMA, CFA, CFP) preferred.
- Experience contributing to and/or leading projects.
- SIE is required to apply; Series 7 & 66 must be obtained within the first 90 days.
San Antonio Base Salary Range: $108,182-$173,091
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, you will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus, and a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
