Licensed Nursing Assistant (Full-Time Nights) - Clinical Decision Unit

We are seeking a skilled Licensed Nursing Assistant to join our team at Catholic Medical Center.

This role involves providing basic patient care under the supervision of Registered Nurses and physicians, with a focus on monitoring critically ill patients, ensuring their comfort, and assisting with various medical and personal care tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide assistance with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Assist with range-of-motion exercises and repositioning for patients, as directed by the healthcare team.
  • Help patients with mobility, including transferring them between beds and wheelchairs.
  • Measure and record patients' vital signs such as temperature, pulse, blood pressure, and oxygen levels.
  • Document intake and output records, vital signs, and any care provided.
  • Assist with continuous monitoring of patients, including checking monitors and medical equipment.
  • Set up, use, and maintain medical equipment such as oxygen tanks, heart monitors, and suction machines.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
  • Experience in a healthcare setting performing similar work activities.
  • Basic computer keyboarding and data entry skills required.
  • Current registration in the State of New Hampshire as a Licensed Nursing Assistant (LNA), required.
  • BLS certified. Must maintain BLS throughout employment.
