We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Physicist to join our team at Health Talent Pro. As a key member of our Radiation Therapy department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and effective delivery of radiation therapy to our patients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement quality assurance programs for therapy machines and treatment planning systems
- Collaborate with medical staff and other departments to ensure radiation safety and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Work closely with the Truebeam unit, Varisource iX HDR system, and Eclipse treatment planning system to ensure optimal patient care
- Develop and maintain educational programs for staff on radiation safety and treatment planning
- Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in radiation therapy and apply this knowledge to improve patient outcomes
- Master's or Doctorate degree in Medical Physics or related field
- Three years of experience as a Medical Physicist in a Radiation Therapy department
- Authorized Medical Physicist certification as defined by the NRC and/or State agency
- Passing of part 2 of the American Board of Radiology (ABR) exam upon hire, and part 3 within 2 years
