About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter/Butcher to join our team at Food City. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for:

  • Cutting, Trimming, Chopping, and Grinding Meat and Seafood Products: Ensure high-quality products are prepared to meet customer expectations.
  • Traying and Wrapping Products: Display products in an attractive and appealing manner to customers.
  • Maintaining High-Quality, Fresh Products: Ensure a consistent supply of fresh products for customers.
  • Handling Freight, Organizing Coolers, and Assisting with Ordering Products: Support the smooth operation of our meat department.
  • Operating Electric Meat Saws, Grinders, and Other Meat Processing Equipment: Safely and efficiently operate equipment to meet production demands.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a meat cutting or butchery role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and quality control.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
