Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter/Butcher to join our team at Food City. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for cutting and merchandising all fresh meat, assisting in ordering and receiving product, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cut and merchandise all fresh meat to meet customer demands
  • Assist in ordering and receiving product to ensure timely delivery
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including display cases and cooler areas
  • Provide excellent customer service and respond to customer inquiries
  • Assist in enforcing and maintaining the company HACCP program
Requirements
  • Must be 18 years of age or older
  • Meat cutting experience a plus, but not required
  • Ability to meet standard Physical, Mental, and Visual demands
  • Ability to understand and follow verbal and/or written instructions, perform routine and repetitive tasks, and have constant contact/interaction with various levels of individuals on a daily basis
