We are seeking a highly skilled Dialysis Nurse to join our team at Quik Travel Staffing. As a Dialysis Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing patient response to dialysis therapy, making appropriate adjustments and modifications to treatment plans, and administering medications as ordered.
Responsibilities- Assess patient pre, interim, and post dialysis and document findings
- Administer medications as ordered to assigned patients
- Educate patients and families regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet, and medications
- Flexibility to travel to the assignment location
- Availability to work the facility's required schedule
- Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care
- 1+ year of recent experience as a dialysis nurse
- Graduate from an accredited nursing school
- Current state specific RN license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing
- BLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings)
- ACLS certification required (Acute setting only)
