Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Mother Baby Unit team at Presbyterian Medical Center in Charlotte, NC. As a Nursing Specialist, you will play a critical role in providing expert care to new mothers and their babies, ensuring a smooth transition from hospital to home.

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
  • Provide education and support to new mothers and families to promote healthy habits and optimal health outcomes
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify potential health risks and develop strategies to mitigate them
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure seamless care transitions
Requirements
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in nursing required; current valid North Carolina nursing license required; one-year relevant experience preferred
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing; ability to work independently and as part of a team; strong communication and interpersonal skills

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience
