Communication Skills

As a customer-facing role, effective communication is essential. You will be required to:

Essential Functions and Skills

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess:

  • Basic math skills to accurately handle cash and make change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders

  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen

Work Conditions

As a member of our team, you will be exposed to:

  • Varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks
  • In-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees and above in some work areas
  • Sudden changes in temperature in work areas and while outside
  • Fumes from food odors
  • Exposure to cornmeal dust
  • Cramped quarters, including walk-in coolers
  • Hot surfaces and tools from the oven up to 500 degrees or higher
  • Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts

Physical Requirements

This role requires:

  • Standing for most tasks
  • Walking for short distances for short durations
  • Sitting for paperwork and administrative tasks
  • Lifting bulk product deliveries, including cases weighing up to 50 pounds
  • Carrying large cans and trays of pizza dough
  • Pushing and pulling trays on dollies
  • Climbing stairs or ladders to change prices on signs, wash walls, and perform maintenance
  • Stooping, bending, and crouching to stock shelves and clean low areas
  • Reaching up, down, and forward to perform tasks

Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must be at least 16 years of age.
