Cardiopulmonary Therapist

Job Overview:

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Makes daily assessments and evaluations of patients' respiratory status
• Develops and implements individualized plans of care for patients with respiratory conditions
• Performs various therapeutic interventions, such as bronchoscopy and thoracostomy
• Collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care delivery
• Participates in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes

Education and Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or related field required
• Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in the State of New York
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• At least two years of experience in a critical care setting
