Position Overview

We are a dedicated team specializing in billing across various medical specialties, focusing on both private practices and hospital-affiliated physician services.

The specialties we cover include, but are not limited to, Cardiology, Chemotherapy, Family Practice, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Internal Medicine, Nephrology, Neurology, OB/GYN, and Podiatry.

Our professional billing team at J&S Stark Billing & Consulting, Inc. is highly trained and possesses extensive experience in managing billing for both hospital and private physician offices.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Minimum of four years' experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management is essential.
  • Thorough understanding of the claims submission process.
  • Proficient knowledge of CPT coding, ICD-9, and ICD-10.
  • Familiarity with medical and insurance terminology.
  • Adherence to compliance, law, and ethics (HIPAA).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Bi-lingual proficiency (English & Spanish) is advantageous.

Educational Requirements:

A certificate from an accredited Medical Billing Program is required, along with 3-5 years of experience in Payment Posting, which includes:


Electronic Posting:
  • Processing wire transfers.
  • Downloading payments.
  • Batch posting.

Manual Posting:

Reviewing EOBs and posting based on EOBs, as well as managing lockbox transactions.


Technical Skills:
  • Proficient in medical billing software systems.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Adept at navigating Windows and the Internet.
