Job Title: Interventional Radiology Technologist

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a skilled Interventional Radiology Technologist to join our team in Marble Falls, Texas.

Job Summary

The Interventional Radiology Technologist will perform high-quality IR procedures on ambulatory and hospital patients under the general supervision of a Radiologist. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to explain procedures to patients, and maintain a calm and helpful attitude even in stressful situations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform high-quality IR procedures according to exam protocol in a timely manner.
  • Explain procedures to patients and their families, ensuring they understand the test to be performed and any necessary precautions.
  • Maintain equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards.
  • Protect patients and employees by adhering to safety requirements, infection-control, drug, and radiation policies.
  • Assist in maintaining supplies inventory and ensure people are safe to enter the department by screening them according to approved policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • ARRT-R Radiography certification is required.
  • ARRT-CI, ARRT-CV, or ARRT-VI certification is required within two years of hire date.
  • Ability to perform tasks autonomously without routine oversight.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain a calm and helpful attitude in stressful situations.
