We are seeking a highly skilled Patient Access Representative to join our team at Southcoast Health System, Inc.
Key Responsibilities- Check-in and check-out patients at assigned practices, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Perform various pre-registration functions, including scheduling patient visits, tests, and surgical procedures.
- Greet patients, answer and triage telephone calls, and provide exceptional customer service.
- Perform various clerical and administrative functions, including data entry and record-keeping.
- Cover different offices as needed or directed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Good computer and typing skills, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, with a focus on building strong relationships with patients and colleagues.
- Good organizational skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
- One year of medical office practice experience or graduation from a medical secretary program or equivalent preferred.
- Must be fully vaccinated against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 virus or exempt for medical or personal reasons.
- Competitive hourly rate of $27.50.
