Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our team at Pivotal Health Care. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to residents in our community, while effectively communicating with team members, families, physicians, and allied health professionals.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure provision of quality nursing care in accordance with Federal, State, and Company requirements based on acuity of residents
  • Make daily rounds to each resident to ascertain the resident's condition and comfort
  • Follow safety policies in performing nursing care, assuring resident safety
  • Initiate procedures to protect residents from injury and infection
  • Assess and evaluate resident change of condition and institute appropriate interventions
  • Communicate with the Physician as indicated by resident needs or status and assure follow through; maintain hand-off communications with oncoming shift regarding resident care needs
Requirements
  • Graduate from an accredited school of nursing
  • Currently licensed in the state of work without encumbrance
  • Responsible for maintaining professional licensure and CEU requirements
  • Preferably 1-2 years of previous nursing experience in Long Term Care and/or a Skilled Nursing Facility
