Pediatric Emergency Department Nurse Opportunity

Inova Health System is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Emergency Department team.

Job Summary

We are looking for a compassionate and experienced RN to provide high-quality patient care in our fast-paced Pediatric Emergency Department. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented group of healthcare professionals and make a meaningful difference in the lives of our patients and families.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional patient care and coordination through an understanding of patient, family, and healthcare delivery team needs.
  • Conduct all patient care in a patient-centered manner.
  • Utilize standards, guidelines, and pathways for care delivery.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year of Registered Nurse clinical experience in the acute care setting.
  • Prefer 2 years plus of PEDS ED RN experience.
  • BSN from an accredited school of nursing.
  • Must be RN licensed, or eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia as an RN.
  • BLS certification from the American Heart Association required.
  • Proficient in English. Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to display a caring demeanor toward others.
  • Proficient computer skills required.
