Job Summary:

As a Computed Tomography (CT) Technologist at Christus Health, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients. This position requires a strong foundation in radiology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of diagnostic procedures, including routine and advanced imaging, utilizing state-of-the-art computerized diagnostic imaging equipment.
• Provide support to other imaging technologists as needed, ensuring seamless workflow and efficient patient care.
• Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and possible contraindications, adhering to established protocols and regulatory requirements.
• Interact appropriately with patients and care providers, prioritizing procedures to maintain high-quality patient care and continuity.
• Assist radiologists in invasive and biopsy procedures, utilizing CT equipment to pinpoint anatomical locations.
• Ensure exam rooms are neat, clean, and adequately stocked, maintaining Infection Control standards.
• Accurately code and enter charges, ensuring compliance with organizational protocols.

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent required.
• 1 year of CT experience in a hospital or clinical setting required; 3 years preferred.
• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT) in CT required.
• Current state licensure and BLS certification required.

Work Schedule:

Full-time position with a TBD work schedule.
