Key Responsibilities
  • Read, understand and perform instructions from the Job Ticket and set up or direct the setup of the press based on instructions.
  • Notify the Converting Packaging Lead when instructions are unclear and verify all components are available and appropriate for the current job.
  • Make necessary adjustments to job ticket specs.
  • Obtain sign offs from the Converting Packaging Lead or Production Supervisor prior to producing a job.
  • Ensure production orders are run in an accurate, time-efficient manner to comply with priority needs.
  • Maintain open communication with the Converting Packaging Lead and necessary departments to ensure proper processing of production orders.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and efficient work environment.
  • Notify the Converting Packaging Lead of any substandard equipment or nonconformities.
  • Log all press-related times/footage into the Management Information System (MIS).
  • Perform and document necessary quality inspections.
Requirements
  • High school diploma/equivalent
  • Six months to a year of related experience and/or training
