The Investment Operations Specialist is responsible for delivering exceptional service to clients, custodian firms, money managers, and consultants. This role requires attention to detail and effective communication skills to ensure seamless execution of tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Onboard new clients and manage day-to-day operational tasks for institutional OCIO and discretionary practice clients
  • Lead complex account set-ups for institutional OCIO and discretionary practice clients
  • Collaborate with the Middle Office Operations Analyst team on subscription, redemption, and periodic KYC/AML document updates for private equity, hedge fund, and alternative investments
  • Manage client money movements and account service tasks with their specific custodian, bank, or brokerage firm while adhering to compliance policies and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records and activity logs for institutional OCIO and discretionary practice clients
  • Uphold internal and external client service standards by providing timely and accurate follow-up, proactive communication, and serving as a knowledgeable operations resource
  • Research and promptly respond to internal and external client inquiries
  • Assist with ad-hoc projects as directed by leadership
  • Develop an understanding of Fiducient's core values and consulting team roles to best serve our clients
  • Act as backup to the Trade Operations team by executing trades for all client types using the firm's preferred trading system and other custodian-specific applications
  • Support Middle Office Associate team members who are off-site with pending client requests

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • 1 year of experience in investment consulting or the financial industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite
  • Knowledge of securities and banking transactions

Work Environment & Travel Requirements:

  • This role may require up to 5% travel for training and business events
  • This role offers a hybrid work model with three days in one of our professional office environments and two days remotely
