About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Welding Specialist to join our team at McDermott. As a key member of our fabrication team, you will be responsible for welding various diameter and wall thickness steel pipes and plates using stick electrodes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Weld steel pipes and plates with precision and accuracy
  • Operate Automatic Welding System when required and qualified to do so
  • Follow project and operational QA/QC requirements and parameters during different types of welding methods
  • Adhere to established welding procedures and protocols
  • Ensure safe handling and operation of welding equipment and machinery
  • Refuse unsafe work and carry out all work in accordance with established HSES Safety standards and Work practices
  • Follow company policies and procedures, and ensure subordinates do the same
Requirements
  • High school graduate
  • 1 Year of experience as a fitter
