Welding Inspector

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct thorough inspections of welding work on construction sites to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
* Review and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure proper welding procedures are followed.
* Perform visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) to assess the quality and integrity of welds.
* Document inspection results, prepare detailed reports, and communicate findings to project managers and other stakeholders.
* Ensure all welding activities comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.
* Collaborate with construction teams to address and resolve any welding-related issues or discrepancies.
* Provide guidance and training to welding personnel to promote best practices and continuous improvement.
* Travel to various job sites across the United States as required.
Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years of experience in welding inspection, preferably on construction projects.
* Certified Welding Inspector (CWI) certification is required.
* Bachelor's or Associate's degree in a related field is preferred.
* Strong knowledge of welding codes, standards, and inspection techniques.
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Willingness to travel extensively to job sites across the United States.
