Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Echo Tech/Cardiac Sonographer
Shift: Days / 7:30a-6p, 9.5x4, 38 hrs per week Length: 13 weeks
Call required about once a week, and an occasional weekend requirement (maybe 1-2 weekends in a 13 week assignment)
Requirements:
  • 1 year experience
  • Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree
  • Registered Cardiac Sonographer credentialed by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
  • BLS
  • Prefer EP (electrophysiology ) experience
Other Details:
  • EPIC, and MacLab

This is a fast-paced, high-acuity unit with a focus on structural heart procedures. The ideal candidate will have experience with EPIC and MacLab systems, as well as a strong background in echocardiography.

Responsibilities include:

  • Independently performing diagnostic cardiac echocardiography procedures
  • Working under their scope of practice and in accordance with registry in the operation of equipment
  • Coordinating patient flow and the activities of the Cardiopulmonary Department
  • Exercising professional judgment in the performance of duties to maintain equipment in good working condition

Education and Licensure:

  • Minimum Level of Education Required: Associate degree
  • Additional requirements:
    • Type of degree: Allied Health
    • Area of study or major: Ultrasound/Sonographer
