Ryder System is seeking a skilled Truck Driver CDL A to join our team. As a Flatbed Truck Driver, you will be responsible for delivering goods to customers in Southern California.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, and agency rules
  • Detecting and eliminating or minimizing safety hazards
  • Loading and unloading freight or assisting in the loading/unloading of freight if required by customer
  • Performing other duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Minimum 21 years of age
  • Pass a Ryder Drug Test
  • Pass a Ryder Background and Motor vehicle check including Drug and alcohol verification from previous employers for the last 3 years
  • Pass a DOT physical
  • Pass a Ryder road test
  • Provide appropriate CDL and endorsements for the position
  • Must have Class A verifiable experience in a tractor trailer or comparable vehicle
  • Ability to follow written and/or oral instructions
  • Ability to read, interpret and apply laws, rules, regulations policies and/or procedures

Pay and Benefits:

  • $1485 or more per week
  • Hourly Pay: $27.00 Per Hour
  • Hours Per Week: 50 + hours per week
  • Paid Training
  • Schedule: Monday – Friday NO WEEKENDS
  • Start Time: 4:00 AM - 6:00 AM

Equipment:

  • Tractor Type: Day Cab
  • Trailer Type: Single Axel Flatbed 35' and 45' and Bobtail 36'
  • Equipment: Moffitt
  • Ryder will Train you on all equipment needed to be successful

Freight:

  • Touch – Windows and Doors - Unloading/Strapping (Tarping in wet weather)
  • Minimum 1 Year Flatbed Experience AND 1 Year Minimum Moffett Experience
  • No Automatic Restriction
