Job Title: CDL Class A Delivery Driver

At Core-Mark, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CDL Class A Delivery Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for delivering and unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate routes to deliver and/or unload food and food-related products to customers.
  • Communicate and interact with customers, vendors, and co-workers professionally to ensure questions are answered accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Perform all required safety checks, including inspections of the tractor/truck and trailer, to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Follow all DOT regulations and company safe driving guidelines and policies.
  • Inspect trailers for properly loaded and secured freight, perform count checks of items, and verify delivery of items with customers.
  • Collect money (cash or checks) where required and load customer returns onto the trailer.
  • Ensure that the tractor, trailer, and freight are appropriately locked and/or secured.
Requirements:
  • High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent
  • Must be 21+ years of age
  • Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
  • Clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for past 3 years
  • Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
  • Pass road test
  • Attains or has valid current DOT Health Card and/or able to secure new DOT Health Card
  • Able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout the shift
