Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our team at Duke University Hospital. As a CT Technologist, you will be responsible for operating CT scanners, performing complex imaging procedures, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate CT scanners and related equipment to perform imaging procedures
  • Position patients for CT scans using patient positioning devices and protective equipment
  • Perform exams accurately per established protocols and patient safety standards
  • Assist radiologists with imaging procedures, including starting IVs and injecting contrast
  • Evaluate CT scans for technical quality and collate processed images
  • Schedule patients for procedures and assist with clerical functions
  • Charge procedures and supplies in the Electronic Health Record (EHR)
Requirements
  • Graduate of a program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification or currently holds required registry or certification
  • ARRT registered in Computed Tomography (CT) within 18 months of employment
  • BLS certification
