Anesthesia Recovery Care Professional

The Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Registered Nurse is responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our healthcare team at Bozeman Health.
Responsibilities:
- Collect comprehensive data pertinent to patient health or situations
- Analyze assessment data to determine diagnoses or issues
- Identify expected outcomes for individualized patient plans
- Develop and implement plans of care that prescribe strategies and alternatives
- Evaluate one's own nursing practice in relation to professional standards and guidelines
Requirements:
- Current Montana licensure as a Registered Nurse
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- At least 2 years of acute care experience
- Competence in modified primary nursing
Preferred Qualifications:
- Critical care experience
- PACU experience
Physical Requirements:
- Lifting, pushing, and pulling: Support 50 pounds of weight; lift 50 pounds; carry equipment/supplies
- Extended hours: Working for extended periods, requiring sitting, walking, or standing for eight or more hours daily
- Flexible schedule: Working beyond a standard 40-hour workweek, including weekends and after-hours shifts
- On-call availability: Responding to organizational and patient needs promptly
Estimated Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
