Patient Care Coordinator for Allergy Services

Tuscaloosa ENT is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Assistant to join our Allergy Department. As an Allergist Medical Support Staff Member, you will play a critical role in providing patient care and supporting our physicians and staff.
Estimated Salary: $48,000 - $58,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
Job ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities Include:
- Performing allergy testing via RAST for inhalant or food allergens, Prick, or SET testing for inhalant allergens as ordered by the physician
- Mixing allergy serum for immunotherapy following sterile precautions and precision of measurement
- Administering allergy serum only upon verification of patient's name and date of birth
To be successful in this role, you must possess:
- A high school education or GED equivalent
- Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum two years of medical practice experience
- Accurate record-keeping and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
