Job Summary

The Walsh Group is seeking a skilled Laborer - Pipelayer to join our team for the SETN Region/I-26 Widening Project in Columbia, SC.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lay, join, align, wrap, and seal pipe sections for water, gas, and sanitary sewer systems.
  • Operate hand and power tools, including drills, hammers, and other equipment as directed by management.
  • Perform physical labor tasks as instructed by supervisors, including climbing and maintaining balance on scaffolds and ladders.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in adverse weather conditions.
Requirements
  • 1 year of verifiable experience preferred.
  • Ability to comply with all safety policies and procedures.
  • Strong work ethic and desire to learn.
  • Good manual dexterity and ability to stand, bend, kneel, or sit for long periods.
