Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mammography Technologist to join our team at Springfield Clinic. As a key member of our Diagnostic Imaging department, you will be responsible for performing high-quality mammograms and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform radiographic mammograms using ionizing radiation to produce high-quality images
  • Prepare files for radiologists to review and interpret
  • Obtain outside previous or comparison exams as needed
  • Assist patients with mammography procedures and provide education on breast health
  • Maintain accurate records and logs of patient information
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure high-quality patient care
  • Participate in quality assurance testing and quality control measures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest mammography protocols and guidelines
Requirements
  • Graduate of an approved A.C.R. school
  • Current licensure with the Illinois Department of Nuclear Safety
  • CPR certification per American Heart Association guidelines
  • Registered and in good standing with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in both Radiography and Mammography
