Part Time LPN Position at Homestead Village

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our team at Homestead Village, a thriving non-profit Life Plan Community located in Lancaster. As an LPN, you will play a vital role in enhancing the independence and dignity of our residents.


Position Details
  • Part Time, non-exempt
  • 6:45PM-7:15AM; every Wednesday & Thursday
  • Gelhard House; PC Memory Support Household; up to 13 residents

Compensation and Benefits

Base pay is determined based on years licensed and experience. LPNs with less than 1 year experience start at $24.75, plus applicable shift and weekend differentials.

  • $1.50 additional from 3:00pm-11:00pm
  • $0.75 additional from 11:00pm-7:00am
  • $1.25 additional on Weekends (Saturday & Sunday)

Qualifications
  • Currently licensed in the Commonwealth of PA as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Minimum of three years as an LPN
  • Minimum of three years of supervisory experience
  • Experienced in developing support plans for elders
  • Familiarity with Personal Care Home Regulations
  • Hands-on experience in ADL assistance
  • CPR/AED certified or able to be certified
  • Written and verbal skills to communicate with client, families, and staff

Responsibilities

As an LPN at Homestead Village, your responsibilities will include:

  • Establishing respectful and warm relationships with residents
  • Performing rounds and admissions
  • Developing and updating resident pre-screen, assessment, and support plans
  • Communicating with physicians and resident families
  • Staff supervision and coaching
  • Assisting with meeting resident activities of daily living
  • Assisting with medication administration
  • Participating in weekly PCH Supervisory meetings
  • Assisting with emergency response campus-wide
  • Attending all required staff meetings and completing monthly education on Relias
