Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our NICU team at TriStar StoneCrest Medical Center. As a valued member of our healthcare family, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care, supporting the growth and development of our nurses, and contributing to the success of our institution.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized care to patients in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), utilizing the nursing process to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and their families about various health conditions, promote customer service initiatives, and foster a supportive environment that empowers individuals to take control of their well-being.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans, ensuring seamless transitions and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in continuing education and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices, advancements in neonatal care, and emerging trends in the field.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A graduate degree from an accredited School of Professional Nursing.
  • Current licensure by the Tennessee Board of Nursing or another acceptable Board of Nursing.
  • A valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • NRP Certification within 90 days of hire.
  • STABLE certification within six months upon hire.
  • A minimum of one year of RN experience, preferably in the NICU setting.
