The Equipment Maintenance Specialist is tasked with the operation, troubleshooting, and upkeep of machinery, ensuring safety and preventative measures are in place to facilitate uninterrupted production activities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate machinery in alignment with production schedules and automation protocols.
- Ensure machinery functions at peak efficiency by managing product flow and inventory effectively.
- Diagnose and resolve equipment issues to maintain high-quality output in line with production timelines.
- Monitor machine performance to identify defects or operational failures, making necessary adjustments.
- Conduct routine maintenance on machinery.
- Perform minor electrical and mechanical repairs, alerting Process Technicians for major service needs.
- Adhere to production standards to maintain output rates.
- Analyze blueprints, specifications, and work orders to determine operational sequences.
- Document maintenance activities for all equipment and execute preventative maintenance as per manufacturer guidelines or as needed.
- Oversee machinery output and performance.
- Respond to maintenance requests, providing support in troubleshooting and operational tasks.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives and performance tracking as part of the role.
