Location: Arnold, MO
Part-time: *8am-4:30pm, M-F*
SSM Health Physical Therapy is in search of a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist to join our specialized outpatient rehabilitation team. Our organization operates multiple centers within the St. Louis Metro area, focusing on individuals who are in recovery from traumatic injuries or illnesses and no longer require intensive nursing or acute rehabilitative services. Key Responsibilities- Assess assigned patients and formulate suitable treatment objectives and programs.
- Continuously evaluate the patient's progress and adjust goals as necessary.
- Create comprehensive treatment goals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Collaborate with other clinical and therapeutic services to coordinate treatment plans.
- Participate in relevant clinical meetings to enhance coordination.
- Provide patient education, including the development of detailed home programs for patients, families, and caregivers.
- Prepare for patient discharge, including the procurement of necessary equipment and recommendations.
- Evaluate patients in real or simulated environments such as home, school, work, or community settings.
- Bachelor's Degree in Speech Therapy is required.
- Current and valid state licensure or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech Language Pathologist is required.
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech Language Pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association or eligibility for certification pending professional experience is required.
- Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification is necessary.
