Equipment Yard Specialist

This is a critical role responsible for the efficient management of equipment in our yard environment. The successful candidate will be accountable for locating, receiving, inspecting, and verifying all incoming and outgoing equipment.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. They must be able to demonstrate alignment with our company's mission and values, collaborate with internal/external resources, and participate in ongoing self-development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Equipment Management: Verify and maintain all equipment arriving and departing the equipment yard, documenting activities accordingly.
- Loading and Unloading: Load and unload equipment and attachments, conduct inspections, and report condition.
- Inventory Management: Provide daily notifications for all inventory items leaving and/or returning the equipment yard through the Shipping and Receiving function.
- Documentation: Photograph all incoming and outgoing machines and upload pictures as outlined in accordance with the photo support point guideline.
- Maintenance: Maintain equipment fuel levels as required and document consumption through the shipping and receiving function.
- Inventory Counts: Perform and conduct bi-monthly inventory counts of machines and work tools.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Up to 2 years of industry experience preferred.
- Skill Set: Proficient with current computer software systems and related hardware, general knowledge of machines and work tools, including their designs, uses, repair, and maintenance.
Salary Range: $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, depending on experience.
