Job Summary:
CareFlite is seeking a highly skilled Medical Emergency Response Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering safe and high-quality advanced emergency care to patients transported by our Ground Division.

About the Role:
This position requires a strong commitment to CareFlite's mission and core values, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. You will be responsible for operating emergency vehicles in accordance with federal, state, and local laws, as well as CareFlite policies and procedures. Additionally, you will perform routine maintenance checks on assigned vehicles, assist flight crew members with patient loading and unloading, and communicate effectively with patients, family members, and medical personnel.

Responsibilities:
• Operate emergency vehicles safely and efficiently
• Perform routine maintenance checks on assigned vehicles
• Assist flight crew members with patient loading and unloading
• Communicate effectively with patients, family members, and medical personnel
• Participate in quality assurance and improvement activities
• Maintain accurate records of patient conditions and services rendered

Requirements:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Current State of Texas certification as an Emergency Medical Technician-Paramedic
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Certification
• Basic Life Support Certification
• PHTLS Certificate or obtained within 6 weeks of hire
• PALS Certificate or obtained within 6 weeks of hire
• Dallas City Ambulance Attendant Driver permit
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
• 2 years' experience in Emergency Medical Services preferred

Working Conditions:
• Fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
• Exposed to hazardous chemicals, extreme temperatures, and blood-borne pathogens
• Required to wear Personal Protective Equipment while performing specific tasks

Salary Range:$55,000 - $75,000 per year
