About the Position:

This Staff Pharmacist role is a per diem position at Mayhill Hospital in Denton, TX. As a per diem staff pharmacist, you will fill orders with accuracy, check technician-prepared products before release, maintain security of pharmacy and controlled substances, enter orders and patient information with accuracy, aid in the training of new staff, update the Director about the daily activities of the pharmacy, and aid the Director in maintaining the pharmacy.

Schedule:

This position is scheduled to work one weekend a month, both Saturday and Sunday from 7am to 11am, and may provide other time off coverage as needed.

Compensation:

The starting pay for this position is $58.00 to $62.00 per hour, based on experience.

About the Facility:

Mayhill Hospital is a 59-bed private psychiatric hospital specializing in mental health and chemical dependency care for adults and seniors. This is one of the few mental health facilities in the area that can provide care to those individuals with both coexisting psychiatric and medical conditions.

CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day-to-day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.

About the Pharmacy:

This centralized pharmacy utilizes Health Care Systems. The pharmacy is open Monday-Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm daily, and weekends are 7:00am to 11:00am.

Requirements:

To be considered for this position, you must have a pharmacy degree (BS or PharmD) from an ACPE-accredited school of pharmacy, a current Pharmacist license in good standing in Texas, and experience as a Pharmacist in a hospital setting. You must also be able to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, and respond to client concerns. Additionally, you must have demonstrated accuracy and timeliness in a work setting, experience using computer applications, and effective communication skills.

Hospital Requirements:

(PPD) TB Skin Test - Proof of negative TB skin test within the last 12 months

(MMR) Measles, Mumps and Rubella or A Blood Titer proving immunity

Varicella - (2) documented doses or A Blood Titer proving immunity

HepB3 Series (or declination)

(Flu) Influenza - required for hire between Oct 1st-April 30th
