We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Mayhill Hospital in Denton, TX. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting licensed pharmacists with various pharmacy activities, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of medications to patients.
Responsibilities- Prepare, deliver, and restock medications according to written procedures and guidelines.
- Perform order entry and procure drugs as needed.
- Assist with billing and other administrative tasks.
- Carry out job duties according to written procedures and guidelines based on pharmacy standards and regulatory requirements.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Recent experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
- Current Texas Pharmacy Technician license in good standing.
- Proficient computer skills, including experience using Microsoft Office.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
