Job Overview

Position Summary

The Vehicle Lot Attendant role is essential in supporting the sales operations by managing the movement of vehicles from inventory, ensuring they are properly maintained and presented in showroom condition. This position involves overseeing the flow of vehicles throughout the sales process, from customer demonstrations to final delivery.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate the sales process through effective vehicle movement and strategic placement.
  • Maintain cleanliness and good condition of all vehicles displayed on the lot and in the showroom.
  • Transport vehicles to and from designated locations, including the lot, storage areas, and between dealerships.
  • Keep the vehicle lot organized and tidy, adhering to dealership display standards.
  • Inspect incoming vehicles for any damage and verify that all accessories listed on the invoice are present.
  • Organize and store vehicle manuals and keys appropriately.
  • Prepare vehicles daily for demonstrations, including washing, rinsing, and ensuring they are locked and unlocked as needed.
  • Ensure proper placement and visibility of vehicle window stickers.
  • Assist in preparing vehicles for demonstration by setting up radios, clocks, compasses, and fuel economy readings, as well as applying dealership decals.
  • Fill fuel tanks to specified levels.
  • Transport customers and dealership staff as required.
  • Assist with the physical inventory of vehicles.
  • Engage positively with customers to foster loyalty and satisfaction.
  • Maintain a consistent and reliable work schedule.
  • Exhibit ethical business practices and integrity in all interactions to uphold the Foundation Automotive brand.
  • Perform all duties in a safe and effective manner.
  • Other responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Successful completion of pre-employment screening processes.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.
