Position Overview:
As a Membership Engagement Specialist, you will drive revenue by fostering enthusiasm around achieving fitness goals, enrolling new members, and maintaining relationships with both potential and existing members. This role is hourly (non-exempt) and offers a base pay along with the opportunity to earn additional compensation upon meeting specific productivity benchmarks. Your earning potential is directly linked to your personal motivation and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop community connections utilizing company resources (e.g., community outreach, local promotions, corporate sales events)
- Generate new business through member promotions, referrals, and guest pass distribution
- Engage in external promotional activities (mini promotions and planned events)
- Contact potential members via phone to schedule appointments for new business opportunities
- Prior phone sales experience is advantageous; this is a requirement for all applicants. If you are not comfortable engaging with potential members over the phone, please refrain from applying.
- Promote special offers to current and prospective guests
- Complete membership agreements and manage daily schedules/leads
- Achieve personal revenue goals
- Conduct tours for potential members, showcasing the facility, equipment, services, and amenities
- Understand how TITLE Boxing Club's offerings meet the needs of potential members
- Engage in meaningful conversations to build rapport and assist potential members in reaching their fitness objectives
- Communicate professionally and authentically, identifying what is most valuable to potential members on a personal level
- Effectively enroll guests using TITLE Boxing Club's sales methodologies and protocols
- Adhere to Membership Agreement Procedures (MAP) during the enrollment process
- Follow up with enrolled members to ensure their expectations are exceeded
- Deliver exceptional customer service during all interactions with guests
- Assist in maintaining a clean and operational facility
- 1-3 years of experience in customer service or sales (REQUIRED)
- Strong competitive drive in a commission-based sales environment
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Self-motivated individual with strong organizational abilities and a passion for promoting healthy lifestyles
- Team-oriented mindset
- Proficient in social media
- Comprehensive understanding of sales practices and techniques
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Some college coursework (Required)
- CPR / AED Certifications (preferred)
- Ability to lift 45 lbs.
- Proficient in typing, using a telephone, and operating a computer mouse
- Capability to demonstrate proper fitness techniques
