Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough inspections of coatings applications on bridge and highway projects to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Verify that coatings meet the required specifications and quality standards.
  • Collaborate with project teams to identify and resolve any issues or concerns related to coatings applications.
  • Develop and maintain a thorough understanding of coatings applications, materials, and techniques.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to project teams on coatings-related matters.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Current NACE CIP Certification (any level).
  • SSPC-C3 Training (certification of completion required).
  • Three (3) years of experience performing coatings application inspections of structural steel.
  • One (1) year of experience performing coatings inspections on a bridge project.
  • Previous experience working with PennDOT is a plus.
