Every Special Child is seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech Language Pathology Assistant to join our team in Oxnard, CA.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement individualized speech and language therapy plans for students, in collaboration with a state-licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP).
  • Conduct screenings and evaluations as directed by the supervising SLP, utilizing standardized assessments and tools.
  • Administer speech and language tests, ensuring proper training and administration as directed by the supervisor.
  • Implement behavior management techniques and documented treatment plans, as instructed by the speech and/or behavior therapist.
  • Monitor student progress, documenting achievements and reporting back to the SLP.
  • Support the SLP during assessments, including data collection and analysis.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in speech-language pathology, audiology, or a related field.
  • Speech Language Pathology Assistant Certificate/License preferred, but not mandatory.
  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in speech pathology.
